Eugene, OR.- Savannah State senior hurdler Cameron Hall has advanced to the finals in the 110m hurdles at the NCAA Championships.savn cameron hall2Hall

Hall finished behind Clemson's Justin Johnson in heat #2 with a time of 13.61. The top two finishers automatically advanced to the finals. Johnson won the heat finishing the distance in 13.52.

Hall had earned a trip to the Nationals when he won the men's 110m hurdles quarterfinals at the East Preliminary championships at North Florida's Hughes Stadium on May 30.

The men's 110m hurdles final is scheduled for Friday at 5:15pm PT.

No other HBCU products advanced to the finals in their respective events.

With the new split format, women won't begin competition until Thursday. Nine females from HBCUs including the 4X400m relay team from Alabama State will begin their quest for a national title in six events.
